EDUCATION

We have a distinctive ethos that successfully combines success and achievement within a happy, supportive and caring environment. It is very important to us that every child should have an opportunity to thrive within a highly personalised curriculum that recognises the diversity of talent within our pupils.
Our teaching staff are highly skilled and fully qualified experts in their curriculum areas and work closely with the pupils to make sure that their programmes of study are matched to their individual needs. We understand that outstanding learning takes place when all members develop positive ‘habits of mind’
The ethos of the school is to encourage pupils to do well and feel good about themselves by celebrating and rewarding their achievements. The rewards system is comprehensive and detailed and there are numerous other certificates and badges given by individual subjects

Jonathan de-Sausmarez
Executive Leader20 years as Headteacher in two Hampshire Schools including Executive Head of The Romsey School. I also support schools & academies across the South in my wider role as a National Leader in Education.

GMAT have a reputation for both supporting schools in challenging circumstances and also working in partnership with schools that want to be part of a wider trust family. Post pandemic, we are now seeking partner schools in all categories and phases who share our core beliefs and values. Joining GMAT – School/MAT Partnerships
The DfE recently announced a partnership ‘try before you buy’ scheme whereby schools can enter a partnership with a trust for up to two years and then decide if they want to become a full member of the trust. GMAT is keen to support this route, as it gives both parties the opportunity to experience the benefits of being in a trust.
